The Eversolo T10 is a streaming transport without a built-in DAC that fetches music from your network and streaming services and passes it purely digitally via USB, I²S, AES/EBU, coaxial or optical to your external converter.

As the larger of the two Eversolo transports, the T10 offers an OCXO clock, an input for external 10 MHz clocks and an 8.6-inch touchscreen.

Why the T10?

Because it cleanly separates the network side from the converter. An eight-core processor with 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage handles streaming and library, and two M.2 NVMe slots each take up to 8 TB (SSDs not included). Outputs are available for USB Audio, I²S, AES/EBU, coaxial and optical, and the formats go up to PCM 768 kHz/32 bit and DSD512. Connections: 2.5 Gigabit LAN, WiFi 6 and SFP.

What you hear

The T10 doesn't sound by itself, it hands the signal over to your DAC. The quality of the clocking and the galvanic isolation of the outputs are meant to give the converter a clean input signal. Whether you hear it is decided by your chain, especially the DAC.

Who is the T10 suited for?

For anyone who already owns a good DAC and wants to feed it with a high-quality streamer. Plain speaking: without a DAC the T10 stays silent, there is no headphone output, and there are no analog outputs. If you want everything in one device, choose a DMP streamer.

Our verdict

The T10 is a consistently well-made transport for anyone who wants to keep their DAC. Technology and operation are right, and the variety of connections is large. We are happy to advise you on which connection suits your converter best.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Eversolo T10 need a DAC?

Yes, the T10 has no built-in converter. It passes the digital signal via USB, I²S, AES/EBU, coaxial or optical to your DAC. For the analog part you therefore need another device.

Which outputs does the T10 have?

The T10 has USB Audio, I²S, AES/EBU, coaxial and optical. Which connection sounds best depends on your DAC. We advise you on the right combination.

How do the T10 and T8 differ?

The T10 is the larger variant with an OCXO clock, 10 MHz input, 8.6-inch display and 2.5 Gigabit LAN. The T8 has a 6-inch display and stays cheaper. Both work as pure transports.

Can I connect headphones to the T10?

No, the T10 has no analog outputs and therefore no headphone output. You connect headphones to the DAC that you run behind it.
