Eversolo DMP-A8 Network Streamer

The Eversolo DMP-A8 is a network streamer with two AKM converters and balanced R2R volume control. It plays music from your network, streaming services and storage, and outputs via XLR or RCA.

It sits in the middle of the DMP family and offers the most important high-end features at a reasonable price. You operate the 6-inch display by touch.

Why the DMP-A8?

Because converters, preamp and streamer sit in a single device. The AK4499EX and the AK4191EQ work together with an OPA1612 and two femtosecond clocks. Volume is controlled fully balanced using the R2R method. Inputs and outputs come in XLR, RCA, coaxial, optical, USB-B, HDMI ARC and HDMI I2S. PCM up to 768 kHz/32 bit, DSD512 and MQA are possible. 64 GB is built in, and a slot takes an SSD of up to 4 TB.

Who is the DMP-A8 for?

For anyone looking for a full-fledged streamer with a preamp who doesn't need a flagship. Plain and simple: a headphone output is not listed in the data sheet, and the device is a streamer, not an amplifier.
