Eversolo DAC-Z10 DAC and Headphone Amplifier

The Eversolo DAC-Z10 is a dual-mono DAC with preamp and headphone amplifier that accepts digital sources via USB, coaxial, optical, AES/EBU, I²S, HDMI ARC and Bluetooth and outputs both balanced and unbalanced. It was awarded the EISA DAC 2026–2027.

The DAC-Z10 uses two AKM converters per unit, separate linear power supplies for each channel and an 8.8-inch IPS touchscreen.

Why the DAC-Z10?

Because it takes on the role of DAC, preamp and headphone amplifier in one device. Two AKM converters (AK4191 and AK4499) work in a dual-mono design, and the volume is controlled by an R2R network. The output delivers 5 Vrms via XLR and 2.5 Vrms via RCA. The headphone output is on a 6.3 mm socket with automatic impedance detection for 16 to 300 ohms.
