Why the Canton GLE 15 PRO S2?

Because it aims the sound exactly where you sit. The acoustic core is the same as in the GLE 15 OnWall S2 – two 154mm ATB drivers, a bass reflex cabinet with a passive radiator, a 25mm tweeter – but instead of simple wall preparation, it comes with a universal bracket. That lets you aim it precisely at your listening position on a wall or ceiling, and use it, tilted, as a height channel in a Dolby Atmos setup. And because it's sold individually, you plan your set freely – two as a stereo front, several as Atmos channels on the ceiling, or as surround.

Who is the Canton GLE 15 PRO S2 for?

Plain and simple: the GLE 15 PRO S2 is for anyone who wants to aim their slim wall or ceiling speaker precisely – as an Atmos height channel on the ceiling or as an angled surround on the wall. If the classic, flat wall mounting is enough for you, the more affordable GLE 15 OnWall S2 is the right choice – acoustically identical, just without the swivel bracket. For deep stereo bass in a large room you'll need larger speakers and a subwoofer anyway.

What's the difference between the GLE 15 PRO S2 and the GLE 15 OnWall S2?

Acoustically, nothing: same two 154mm ATB drivers, same tweeter, same bass reflex cabinet. The difference is in what's included – the PRO comes with a universal bracket that lets you aim it precisely on a wall or ceiling. The standard OnWall S2 is only prepared for flat wall mounting.

Is the GLE 15 PRO S2 sold individually or as a pair?
