Bassocontinuo Ghironda 2.1 Hi-Fi Rack

The Bassocontinuo Ghironda 2.1 is a double-width hi-fi rack made from solid stainless steel that combines two complete device stacks side by side on a shared frame.

The Ghironda 2.1 also belongs to Bassocontinuo's Reference Line and brings its technology package in double width: the new tie-rod system braces each of the two shelf rows tight against the stainless steel structure, the 30 mm thick shelves sit calm and low in resonance, a spirit level integrated into the base makes precise alignment easier, and every unit carries an NFC chip with an individual serial number. Who is the Ghironda 2.1 for?

The Ghironda 2.1 is a good fit if you want to house two separate device chains – for example a stereo and a multiroom chain, or two mono power amps left and right of the rest of your electronics. With two usable areas of 500 × 500 mm each, it offers noticeably more standing surface than a single rack. If you only need one row of devices, the single-width Accordeon XL4 2.1 is the more compact and affordable solution.

A clever middle ground between two individual racks and a bulky XXL piece of furniture: double the standing surface, the same material quality and decoupling as the entire Reference Line program, without you having to match two separate frames to each other.

Can I combine the Ghironda 2.1 with other Reference Line racks?
Yes, all Reference Line models share the same structure, decoupling and the six finishes. You can combine the Ghironda 2.1 visually with an Accordeon XL4 2.1 or Bandura 2.1 in the same finish, should you want to expand later.

How stable is such a wide rack?
The solid stainless steel structure with the new tie-rod system holds the construction free of play across the full 1140 mm width. The DSD floor plates additionally decouple from the surface, instead of just adding weight.
