Frequently asked questions

Can the Malmö Sub 10 connect wirelessly to the amplifier?

Not out of the box. The Sub 10 has only an analogue RCA input and no wireless module. A wireless connection would need a separate transmitter-receiver set between amplifier and subwoofer. We're happy to tell you whether that's worthwhile in your case or whether a cable remains the better solution.

How far up can I turn the level control?

Start at around a third and then adjust in small steps. A properly set subwoofer doesn't stand out as its own source while listening to music – you only notice it once you switch it off. If the bass becomes localisable or booms, the level or the crossover frequency is set too high.

Can I run two Malmö Sub 10 units together?

Only via the amplifier, not via the subwoofer itself: there's no pass-through output. If your AV receiver has two subwoofer outputs, or you use an RCA splitter, parallel operation works. Two subwoofers often smooth out the bass in a room noticeably – we're happy to look at that setup with you.
