The Argon Audio Forus 4 Wall is a passive 2-way wall speaker with 10.3 cm cabinet depth, mounted directly on the wall via an integrated keyhole mount.
White is the most discreet of the three finishes. Against a light wall, what mostly remains is a calm surface – no stand, no cable clutter, no box taking over the room.
Why the Forus 4 Wall in White?
Because many living spaces simply have no floor space left. The Forus 4 Wall moves the speaker to where there's room anyway: the wall. A 4-inch paper cone, a 0.75-inch soft dome with neodymium magnet, crossover at 3000 Hz, and an MDF cabinet that projects just over ten centimetres into the room. In White, the front blends into the wall rather than standing in front of it.
What you get
Two wall speakers with gold-plated screw terminals, magnetic front grilles and a mount that works both vertically and horizontally. Powered by an amplifier of your choice. The combination with a compact subwoofer works especially well: it takes on the foundation that a flat cabinet can't deliver, turning a discreet wall pair into a fully-fledged music system for a living room or reading corner.
Who is the Forus 4 Wall White suited for – and who isn't it for?
Straight talk: if you expect bass without a subwoofer, you should look for a bigger cabinet – flat and deep simply don't go together in speakers. And it isn't active, so an amplifier is needed. But if you don't want to cut into the wall of a rented flat, have little floor space, or are simply done with cables on the floor, this is a surprisingly unfussy solution. And yes, it makes for a tidy living room too.
Our verdict
The Forus 4 Wall in White is the most understated way to bring music into a room that's already full. Which height, which distance, which amplifier, and whether a subwoofer belongs – let us advise you. HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, 044 680 22 00 or WhatsApp 076 534 22 00 (text only, no calls).

Frequently asked questions
Does the Forus 4 Wall need its own amplifier?
Yes. It's passive and is powered by an integrated amplifier, streaming amplifier or AV receiver that works stably at 4 ohms. A particularly large power amp isn't needed; what matters more is clean, controlled power in the range of about 30 to 60 watts per channel.
Does the white version really disappear on the wall?
On a white or light wall, it comes pretty close. At 10.3 centimetres deep with the magnetic front grille fitted, what remains is a flat, calm rectangle. It doesn't become fully invisible – that would take an in-wall speaker with a cut-out.
How do I hide the speaker cables?
Most elegantly in a flat cable channel that gets painted over, or inside the wall if you're renovating anyway. As a quick solution, self-adhesive flat cables under the paint work well. Plan the cable length generously – extending it later always looks worse than measuring correctly once.
Does the Forus 4 Wall pair well with a subwoofer?
Very well, in fact. The Forus 4 Wall plays down to around 60 Hz; below that, a compact subwoofer takes over, for example from the Argon Malmö family. On an AV receiver you'd typically cross over at 80 Hz, which makes the pair on the wall sound noticeably more relaxed.
Why buy the Forus 4 Wall from HD Zürisee?
Because with nearly three decades of industry experience, we know what makes wall solutions fail in everyday use: wrong height, forgotten cable runs, mismatched electronics. We think this through with you beforehand, deliver and install on-site on request, and stay reachable with our own technician.
