Advance Paris L-LS4 Speaker Cable, 4 m

The Advance Paris L-LS4 is a speaker cable with a 2.5 mm² cross-section in pure OCC copper, terminated with eight solid banana plugs (4 red, 4 black) for stereo connection – 4 metres in length per cable set.

Do I need a thicker cross-section at 4 m?

At 2.5 mm², cable resistance stays in an uncritical range even over 4 metres for typical household speaker impedances. Only for very long runs or low-impedance speakers is it worth rethinking.

Can I have the cable shortened?

In principle yes, but then you lose the terminated end plugs on the cut side. It's better to choose the right length from the start – L-LS3, L-LS4 or L-LS5.
