bFly-Audio Little Fwend – Automatic Tonearm Lift

The bFly-Audio Little Fwend is an automatic tonearm lift that silently raises the tonearm at the end of a record, protecting your needle and record grooves from unnecessary wear.

No installation, no drilling: the Little Fwend is simply placed next to the turntable or fixed with an adhesive pad, complementing any turntable without altering its build.

Why the Little Fwend?

If a record is left to play unattended to the end, the Little Fwend gently and smoothly lifts the tonearm off the run-out groove before the needle keeps grinding in the dead groove. Which model fits my turntable?

Measure the distance from the mounting surface to the underside of your tonearm and add 2 mm: model N fits 32–49 mm, model H fits 49–82 mm. Dedicated, precisely fitted models exist for REGA P8, P10 and Naia, as well as for Technics SL-1200/1210/1300G.

Do I need to modify my turntable for this?

No, in the standard version the Little Fwend is simply placed freely or fixed with an adhesive pad – no drilling or permanent installation is needed. On REGA models, mounting is done via the included mounting platform.

Does the Little Fwend affect the sound?

No, it only steps in at the end of playback and has no influence at all on the ongoing playback itself – your usual sound stays unchanged.
