Collection: WIIM

WiiM is the rising star of affordable streaming – devices that do an astonishing amount for a fair price. A clean app, high-resolution playback, and with built-in room correction a feature you'd otherwise only find much more expensive. No high-end cabinet build, but a real statement for the money.

For us by Lake Zurich, WiiM is the uncomplicated entry point into audiophile streaming. In Wädenswil we tell you honestly which model is enough for your purpose – and where the extra cost pays off.

The WiiM range with us

  • Streamers – from the affordable Mini through Pro and Pro Plus to the Ultra with display, depending on how much you demand from the DAC and features.
  • Streaming amplifiers – WiiM Amp, Amp Pro and Amp Ultra combine a streamer and power stage; you connect passive speakers to them directly.
  • Integrated amplifier – the VibeLink Amp as a standalone integrated amplifier without its own streaming module, which you combine with a WiiM streamer.
  • Streaming speakers – WiiM Sound and Sound Lite (single or as a twin set) as active all-in-one speakers.
  • Soundbar – the WiiM Bar with Dolby Atmos for the TV, compact and without forcing a separate subwoofer.
  • Bass & accessories – the Sub Pro for extra depth, plus the Voice Remote for remote control.

Honestly

WiiM offers an extreme amount for the money – the app is good, the room correction (parametric EQ) noticeably lifts the sound in many rooms, and the Pro Plus has a decent DAC. What you don't get is the material investment and power reserves of a high-end brand; the cabinets are functional, not luxurious. That's exactly the point: WiiM is ideal for getting into good streaming without a big budget, or for making an existing system smart. If you want more, Bluesound or MOON is the next step.

Frequently asked questions about WiiM

WiiM Pro, Pro Plus or Ultra – which streamer?

The Pro is the solid entry point. The Pro Plus has the better DAC and sounds noticeably cleaner on a good system. The Ultra additionally brings a colour display, more connections and a phono input. If you're listening through a decent amplifier, at least the Pro Plus is worth it.

What does WiiM's room correction actually do?

WiiM measures the frequency response in your room with your phone's microphone and evens out peaks using a parametric EQ. It's no miracle cure and doesn't replace real room acoustics, but it noticeably smooths out boominess and dips. For the proper solution, we also advise you on room acoustics – that's a core skill of ours.

Is the WiiM Amp enough as a complete amplifier?

For small to medium rooms and easy-to-drive speakers: yes. The Amp has a streamer and power stage built in, you just need passive speakers. With large or power-hungry speakers it reaches its limits – then the Amp Ultra, the VibeLink Amp on a streamer, or a separate power amp is the better route. Tell us your speakers, and we'll place it for you.

Is WiiM worth it compared to Bluesound or pricier streamers?

WiiM clearly wins on value for money and on room correction. Bluesound scores with a more mature ecosystem, multiroom stability and build quality. If it's about budget and a good entry point, WiiM is top; if you want a grown system across several rooms, take a look at Bluesound.
