Do I still need an external phono preamp for the PRO T2?

No. The PRO T2 has a built-in JFET phono preamp with constant-current RIAA equalisation – you can connect it directly to a line input on an amplifier, active speaker or mixer.

Is the PRO T2 also suitable for home use, not just for DJs?

Yes. The high-torque direct drive and the stable tonearm are designed for DJ use, but they also sound clean in the living room – many customers use it purely for hi-fi listening.

Is the Ortofon VNL already mounted and set up?
