Argon Audio Essentials Stream Connect, Black (Each)

The Essentials Stream Connect by Argon Audio retrofits an existing system or active speaker with internet radio, DAB+/FM reception, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth – with no speakers of its own, but with a colour display and Wi-Fi/Ethernet connectivity.

Why the Essentials Stream Connect?

If you have a good system or active speaker but want to add streaming and DAB+, the Stream Connect is the compact solution: the device receives internet radio, DAB+, FM, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD, and passes the signal on to your existing system in analogue (RCA) or digital-optical (Toslink). The 2.4-inch colour display shows cover art and song information, and the connection stays stable via Wi-Fi or LAN cable.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference from the DAB Adapter 3?

The DAB Adapter 3 receives only DAB and DAB+, without Wi-Fi. The Stream Connect additionally offers internet radio, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth with aptX HD – but without the adapter's remote control and alarm functions. For pure DAB+ needs, the more affordable DAB Adapter 3 is enough.

Do I need Wi-Fi for the Stream Connect?

Yes, for internet radio and Spotify Connect, either via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable. DAB+, FM and Bluetooth streaming from a phone also work without an internet connection.

Why buy the Essentials Stream Connect from HD Zürisee?

Because we'll tell you in advance whether retrofitting is worthwhile or whether a standalone device with speakers would be the better choice – depending on your existing system. Call us on +41 44 680 22 00, email shop@hdzuerisee.ch, or reach us on WhatsApp 076 534 22 00 (text only, no calls).
