The Sonox Q30 is a compact 2-way bookshelf speaker with a sealed enclosure that delivers precise, surprisingly punchy bass even on a shelf or close to a wall.

Developed by the Swiss speaker manufacturer ROWEN, the Q Series brings audiophile know-how into a compact, affordable box.

Why the Sonox Q30?

Instead of a bass-reflex port, the Q30 uses a sealed "Acoustic Suspension" enclosure. That means deep, dry bass without the boominess that usually shows up near a wall – so you can put the box on a shelf or right up against the wall without worry. The 18mm ROWEN fabric dome tweeter resolves fine detail, while a fast, wide-bandwidth bass/mid system underneath delivers clean spatial imaging.

What you hear

A sound that feels bigger than the box: clear voices, natural timbre, and bass down to 45 Hz that has kick instead of boom. Just as good for music as for movie night. The white finish blends discreetly into bright, modern living rooms.

Who is the Sonox Q30 for?

For anyone who wants genuine HiFi sound from a compact, easy-to-place box – especially when a shelf or wall is the only spot available. Straight talk: the Q30 is a passive speaker, so you'll need an amplifier to go with it. And the compact build won't deliver concert-hall levels for a 60 m² loft – that's what the larger Q80 or the X Series are for.
