Collection: PSB

PSB Speakers is a Canadian loudspeaker manufacturer from Ontario whose development has been closely tied to the acoustic research of Canada's National Research Council for decades – and as part of the Lenbrook Group, it shares the same roots as NAD and Bluesound. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil you'll find PSB as a compact, active streaming system for the BluOS world.

The PSB range at our shop

• iQ1 – active 2-way bookshelf speaker with built-in amplifier, BluOS multiroom streaming and a wired connection between the two speakers.
• iQ2 – the extended, wirelessly connected variant with its own amplifier channel for each tweeter – the more flexible and higher-quality of the two models.

Honestly speaking

Internationally, PSB is also known for passive studio monitors and large home cinema series – at our shop, we deliberately stock only the active iQ series for now, because as a standalone streaming pair it needs no additional amplifier and fits seamlessly into the BluOS ecosystem of Bluesound and NAD. If you're looking for a passive PSB speaker for your own power amp, you're at the wrong address with us for now – but we'll advise all the more precisely on whether iQ1 or iQ2 suits your room and your sources.

Frequently asked questions about PSB

Do I need a separate amplifier for the PSB iQ1 or iQ2?

No. Both models are active, and the amplifier and BluOS streaming module are already built into the speakers. All you need is a source or your network – thanks to the optical and phono MM inputs, it also works entirely without a streaming subscription.

What distinguishes the iQ1 and iQ2?

The iQ1 connects the two speakers by cable and shares one tweeter amplifier channel, while the iQ2 communicates wirelessly and gives each tweeter its own channel. Very close to each other in sound, the iQ2 is the more flexible, higher-quality choice.

Does PSB work with my TV or turntable?

Yes, both models come with HDMI eARC for your TV and a phono MM input for your turntable, plus an optical input and USB ports for further sources.

Why buy PSB at HD Zürisee?

Because we honestly show you whether iQ1, iQ2 or another BluOS system suits your room and your sources. HD Zürisee in Wädenswil is an authorised PSB and Bluesound dealer, and Mauri can take care of connection and setup right away if needed.
