Collection: MEZE AUDIO

Meze Audio from Romania builds headphones you want to touch: plenty of metal, wood and leather, hand-assembled and – wherever possible – repairable instead of glued shut. From the classic 99 through the 109 PRO to the planar magnetic Empyrean II and Elite. Come try them at our place by Lake Zurich.

The Meze range at our store

  • Dynamic headphones – 99 Classics, 105 AER/Silva and 109 PRO for entry-level and upper mid-range, plus Poet and Strada as premium over-ear models.
  • Planar magnetics – Empyrean II and the flagship Elite for home listening.
  • In-ears – Alba as an affordable entry point, Astru as a high-end IEM with a titanium housing.

Honestly

Meze is an investment, not a bargain – but in return you get materials, build quality and spare parts that keep the device going for a long time. The big planar magnetics want a proper headphone amp, otherwise you leave potential on the table. If you're just after a cheap travel headphone, you're better off elsewhere – if you listen deliberately and for the long haul, Meze is for you.

Frequently asked questions about Meze Audio

Do I need a headphone amp for Meze?

The 99, 105 and 109 PRO work fine without much extra; with Empyrean II, Elite, Poet and Strada, a headphone amp audibly gets more out of them. We'll show you the difference on the same track.

Are Meze headphones really repairable?

On the larger models, pads, cables and driver units can be swapped instead of throwing the whole thing away. That's part of the Meze philosophy – and one reason they pay off.

Can I listen to Meze at your store?

Yes. Bring your music to Wädenswil, we'll take our time and compare calmly.
