Advance Paris L-LS5 Speaker Cable, 5 m

The Advance Paris L-LS5 is a speaker cable with a 2.5 mm² cross-section in pure OCC copper, terminated with eight solid banana plugs (4 red, 4 black) for stereo connection – 5 metres in length per cable set, for the greatest distance in the L-LS series.

Why the L-LS5?

Because large rooms and widely spaced speakers need longer cable runs without losing level or control along the way. The generous cross-section of the L-LS5 keeps cable resistance in an uncritical range even over 5 metres.

Who is the L-LS5 for?

For large living or listening rooms where the amplifier and speakers are clearly far apart. For most standard living rooms, the shorter L-LS3 or L-LS4 is already enough – better to measure your actual distance before reaching for the longest cable.

Our verdict

The right cable for large rooms, where length doesn't come at the expense of cross-section.

Frequently asked questions

Do I really need 5 metres?

First measure the actual distance between amplifier and speaker – often the shorter L-LS3 or L-LS4 is entirely sufficient. The L-LS5 pays off mainly in large rooms or awkward furniture layouts.

Does the cable lose sound quality at 5 m?

With a 2.5 mm² cross-section, resistance stays uncritical over 5 metres for typical household speaker impedances. The signal loss is practically unnoticeable.

Why buy the L-LS5 from HD Zürisee?
