Wie tief spielt der Pulse Sub+?

Bluesound gibt 22 bis 150 Hertz mit ±2 Dezibel auf Achse an, die untere Grenze bei −10 Dezibel liegt bei 20 Hertz. Ein 20-Zentimeter-Long-Throw-Treiber und 150 Watt Dauerleistung sorgen dafür, dass diese Zahlen nicht nur auf dem Papier stehen.

Kann ich den Pulse Sub+ an die Wand hängen?

Ja, die passende Wandhalterung liegt bei. Das flache, trapezförmige Gehäuse lässt sich ebenso stehend oder liegend aufstellen, dafür gibt es magnetische Gummifüsse im Lieferumfang. In Weiss verschwindet er an einer hellen Wand fast vollständig – praktisch, wenn der Wohnraum kein grosses Bassgehäuse verträgt.

Lassen sich Pegel und Trennfrequenz einstellen?

Ja, komplett in der BluOS-App: Lautstärke, Trennfrequenz und Phase. Eine automatische Raumeinmessung bringt der Pulse Sub+ nicht mit, du stellst also von Hand ein – dafür wirkt sich jede Änderung sofort aus, ohne dass du dich hinter das Gerät bücken musst.

The Bluesound Pulse Sub+ is an active subwoofer that connects wirelessly via BluOS into a Bluesound system, supplying the bass foundation for music and home cinema there.

Honestly: a good system without deep bass sounds clean, but a bit unfinished. The Pulse Sub+ closes that gap – and because the signal comes wirelessly, the path there stays free of extra cables. In white, the flat enclosure barely stands out on a bright wall.

Why the Pulse Sub+?

A 20 cm long-throw woofer with a polypropylene cone meets a Class D amplifier with Smart DSP: 150 watts continuous power, up to 200 watts dynamic peak. Bluesound states 22 to 150 hertz at ±2 dB, with the lower limit at −10 dB reaching 20 hertz. The trapezoid flat enclosure can be mounted upright, lying flat, or on the wall – placement follows the room, not the cable length.

Who is the Pulse Sub+ for?

For anyone already moving in the Bluesound universe who wants to give their system more depth – in the living room as well as in home cinema. Straight talk: bought on its own without a BluOS environment, it does work via RCA, but its real strength then goes unused. It has no automatic room calibration. And for very large rooms at cinema levels, you're better off considering a bigger model or a second unit.
