Eversolo AMP-F8 Stereo Power Amplifier

The Eversolo AMP-F8 is a Class-AB stereo power amplifier with 2 × 180 watts into 8 ohms and 2 × 280 watts into 4 ohms. It can also be bridged and features two analogue VU meters in the front panel.

It is the smaller power amplifier in the Eversolo family and, thanks to its identical width, matches the DMP-A8 streamers well.

Why the AMP-F8?

Because it offers plenty of power in a compact aluminium chassis with an 800-watt toroidal transformer. Three pairs of high-current MOSFETs work per channel. The signal-to-noise ratio is at least 115 dB, distortion is 0.003% and the damping factor is above 400. The input sensitivity can be switched between 23 and 29 dB of gain, and you can turn off the LED on the front.

What you hear

A power amplifier shows what it can do when things get dynamic. Thanks to the power reserves and the high damping factor, speakers stay under control even at level peaks. The analogue VU meters give you visual feedback while you listen.
