The CR-Tech Sound Supports thread adapter is a double-sided threaded stud that connects the Sound Supports feet with a different thread size to a speaker or unit.

The feet themselves come with a threaded hole – M6 on the 5023 and 5035 models, M8 on the larger 6540. If your cabinet or unit has a different thread, exactly one part is missing: this stud. It carries an external thread of a different size on each side, bridging the difference. Like all CR-Tech products, it's made in Switzerland. The set of 4 covers a complete set of feet.

Why the thread adapter?

Not every speaker and not every unit has exactly the thread the foot expects. The alternatives would be to skip decoupling or improvise – both a shame given the effort. With the right adapter in between, the connection sits firm and defined, and the vibrations find their way into the damping system instead of into the floor.
