Collection: CABASSE

Cabasse is a French speaker manufacturer from Brest that has relied on coaxial drivers since 1950 – several ways radiating from a single point. In the shop you'll find the "The Pearl" series: active spherical speakers with a built-in power amp, DAC and network streaming on board. One device, one cable, music.

What you choose by with Cabasse

The first question is the size of your room, not the color of the sphere. The Pearl Akoya is the entry point for living rooms and studies, The Pearl the bigger sibling for rooms where the Akoya reaches its limits. The Pearl Myuki has a battery on board and comes along to the terrace. If you want a stereo pair with depth, you land on the 2.1 system The Pearl Keshi or add a subwoofer. At the very top sits the active Pelegrina – a floorstanding speaker that looks like a sculpture and sounds like one too.

All Pearl models come with CRCS, Cabasse's room correction with a built-in microphone. That takes much of the fussiness out of placement – though it can't outwit physics entirely. Hi-res up to 24-bit/192 kHz, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer and internet radio are included, and since the 2025 firmware update the series is also Roon Ready. You don't need a paid subscription for that – internet radio and files from your own network work just the same.

Looking for the electronics rather than the sphere? The Abyss is your starting point: a streaming integrated amplifier from the same ecosystem, which you'll also find under amplifiers. Matching speaker stands and wall mounts are also in this collection.

Advice at HD Zürisee

We know the series from practice, not from the brochure: where calibration really makes a difference, when a wall mount is the smarter solution than a stand, and how several Pearl speakers play together cleanly across rooms. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, our technician Maurizio takes care of delivery, installation and setup on site.
