Active 2-way bookshelf speakers with BluOS streaming

The PSB iQ1 is an active speaker pair with built-in amplification and BluOS multi-room streaming: two 4-inch polypropylene woofers and two 0.75-inch aluminium dome tweeters (neodymium, ferrofluid-cooled) are driven by a total of 270 watts of Class D power – 90 W per woofer, 45 W per tweeter, with its own power supply per cabinet.

Everything included, everything connected

Via BluOS you stream lossless up to 24-bit/192kHz over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, plus AirPlay 2, Spotify/Tidal/Qobuz Connect and Bluetooth with aptX Adaptive. For wired sources there's HDMI eARC (straight to your TV), an optical input, a phono MM input for your turntable, plus USB-C and USB-A. A subwoofer output rounds out the system at the low end. The two cabinets are connected to each other by cable.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an additional amplifier?

No. The iQ1 is active – amplifier and streaming module are already built in. You just connect a source or your network, nothing more is needed.

Can I run the iQ1 with my TV?

Yes, via HDMI eARC you control volume and playback directly with your TV remote, including Dolby Digital decoding from the TV.

What's the difference to the iQ2?

The iQ2 connects the two cabinets wirelessly and gives each tweeter its own amplifier channel, and it's also available in more colours. Sonically and technically the two are very similar, with the iQ2 being the more flexible, higher-tier model.
