Collection: AUDIOBYTE
Audiobyte is a Romanian manufacturer that consistently builds its digital hi-fi electronics in-house – from the FPGA chip to the anodised aluminium housing. Instead of off-the-shelf converter ICs, Audiobyte develops its own clock generation, digital pathways and its own custom multibit DSD conversion.
The Audiobyte range with us
- Streamer – the Super Hub MKII as a pure FPGA network transport with Roon Ready, AirPlay and I2S output.
- D/A converter – the Super Vox with its own custom multibit DSD conversion and a digital preamp function.
- Headphone amplifier – the Super Head as a fully balanced headphone amplifier with XLR4, 4.4mm and 6.3mm outputs, doubling as a line preamp.
- Hi-fi rack – the Super Rack, three-tiered and purpose-built for the complete Super Stack.
Honestly speaking
Audiobyte isn't a name for the big marketing show, but for anyone who prefers in-house FPGA development over an off-the-shelf DAC chip. If you run the complete Super Stack of streamer, converter and headphone amplifier, you get a chain that's coherent both visually and sonically – at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil we'll advise you on which combination fits your system.
