The Audio Desk Systeme Vinyl Cleaner Premium is a fully automatic ultrasonic record washing machine that cleans both sides of an LP at once and then dries it.
Record in, press the button, wait a good five minutes – and it comes back out clean, dry, and antistatic. No hand crank, no suction nozzle, no wiping with cloths. It's built by hand at Audiodesksysteme Gläss in Königsbronn; the Premium is the fifth generation of this line and the successor to the Vinyl Cleaner Pro X. White suits a setup that isn't meant to look like technology.
Why the Vinyl Cleaner Premium?
Most record washing machines are good at one of two things – scrubbing or ultrasound. The Premium combines both: four microfiber rollers mechanically loosen the coarse dirt, the ultrasonic bath pulls out of the groove what a cloth never could, and high-pressure nozzles rinse the loosened dirt away. Two fans then dry the record without contact. Because nothing is vacuumed off, the LP doesn't build up a static charge – so it doesn't attract fresh dust the moment it comes out.
What you get
A result you can hear: less crackle, quieter grooves, more air between the notes – especially with flea-market finds and older pressings. Operation is deliberately simple, one button is enough, the electronics handle the rest. The fifth generation also brings the in-house Silent Core One drive system: more powerful, audibly quieter, and with a noticeably shorter drying time than its predecessor. One tank fill cleans many records before you need to change the water.
Who is the Vinyl Cleaner Premium suited for?
For collectors, dealers, and anyone whose records are too precious for compromise – and who cleans larger volumes on a regular basis. Plain talk: if you own thirty records and dust them off twice a year, you don't need a fully automatic ultrasonic machine; a good brush and a simple wet bath will do just fine. The Premium pays off through volume – and through the value of the records you're protecting.
Our verdict
The record washing machine other machines have had to measure up against for years – uncompromising in cleaning, effortless to operate. Not a bargain, but a purchase for life (and for the collection). Not sure if the Premium is worth it for your collection? Write to us or call us in Wädenswil – we'll tell you honestly whether you need the big machine or whether a size down does the job too.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Vinyl Cleaner Premium clean both sides at once?
Yes. The record stands upright in the bath, and both sides are worked on simultaneously by microfiber rollers and ultrasound. You don't need to flip the LP or run it through twice – one pass cleans, rinses, and dries the entire record.
How long does a cleaning cycle take?
Around five minutes per record for the complete cycle of washing, rinsing, and drying; drying alone accounts for about three of those minutes. Afterward you can play the LP right away or slip it into a fresh inner sleeve. No further polishing or drying is needed.
Is the Vinyl Cleaner Premium available in other colors too?
Yes. Besides white, Audiodesksysteme Gläss builds the Premium in gray, red, and black. All four are technically identical, it's purely about looks. You'll find all the colors at HD Zürisee in the Audio Desk Systeme collection.
What consumables does the Vinyl Cleaner Premium need?
Three things: cleaning concentrate, wet filter, and fresh microfiber rollers now and then. All three are available individually or bundled in the Maintenance Set 500. How often you replace them depends on how many records you wash and how dirty they are.

Because we don't just sell the machine, we use it ourselves. As an authorized dealer in Wädenswil, HD Zürisee handles warranty and consumable resupply – and tells you honestly in advance whether the Premium is worth it for your collection. Advice by phone, WhatsApp, or email.
