Argon Audio Essentials Radio1 DAB+ Radio, Ash (Each)

The Essentials Radio1 by Argon Audio is a compact single-speaker DAB+/FM radio in Danish design. The ash finish shows a visible, light wood grain and blends in unobtrusively in a kitchen, office or bedroom.

Why the Essentials Radio1?

If you don't need internet radio or streaming, but simply want a reliable DAB+ and FM radio with good sound, the Radio1 is the pared-down alternative to the larger Radio3. The speaker with a bass-reflex enclosure sounds fuller than its compact dimensions suggest, and the two-line OLED display stays clearly readable even from some distance. An AUX input and headphone output round off the device.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference from the Essentials Radio3?

The Radio1 has only one speaker and receives DAB+ and FM, but no internet radio, no Wi-Fi and no Spotify Connect. If you want that as well, or prefer stereo sound with two speakers, go for the Essentials Radio3.

Can I connect an external player?

Yes, via the AUX input (3.5 mm jack) you can connect any device with a headphone output, for example a phone or an old MP3 player.

Why buy the Essentials Radio1 from HD Zürisee?

Because we'll tell you in advance whether the slim Radio1 is enough for where you want to use it, or whether the Radio3 with stereo sound and internet radio would be more worthwhile. Call us on +41 44 680 22 00, email shop@hdzuerisee.ch, or reach us on WhatsApp 076 534 22 00 (text only, no calls).
