The Argon Audio CD1 brings the CD back into modern systems: a dedicated, compact CD player with a high-quality ESS converter, digital and analogue outputs, and a remote control. In its white housing, it visually matches the SA1 MK2 and SA2 from the same series.

Why the CD1?

The ESS ES9023 converter keeps distortion and noise low (THD+N < 0.007%) and delivers a clean analogue output at 2 Vrms. If you'd rather convert externally, use the optical or coaxial digital output instead to feed your own DAC or an amplifier with a digital input. Auto-on/standby and a dimmable display round off everyday usability.
