IsoTek Smart Power Alpha Lite (8-Way)

The IsoTek Smart Power Alpha Lite is a rack-mountable 8-way mains filter strip for custom-install, AV and multi-room systems: every outlet individually filtered, in a slim 1U enclosure.

IsoTek's power-cleaning know-how in a 19-inch format. Eight C14 IEC outlets with individual filtering remove common-mode and differential-mode noise per socket, plus surge protection of 40,000 A. "Lite" means: no programming – pure filtering and protection.

Why the Smart Power Alpha Lite?

Because an AV or IT rack supplies many devices from a single source – and cheap distribution strips simply pass interference straight through. The Alpha Lite filters each of the eight outlets independently, so noise (hiss in speakers, fuzz on the picture) doesn't transfer from device to device.

What's the difference between the Smart Power Alpha Lite and the programmable Alpha?

The Alpha Lite filters each outlet individually and protects against surges, but cannot be controlled. The programmable Smart Power Alpha additionally offers control via RS232, LAN and WiFi with sequencing for controlled power-on and power-off order.

Does the Alpha Lite fit into a standard rack?

Yes. The Alpha Lite is a 1U device (44.5 mm height) for the 19-inch rack and fits in alongside AV and IT components. The eight C14 outlets give you free choice of power cable per socket.
