Argon Audio TT-MK2 Turntable, Black (Each)

The Argon Audio TT-MK2 is your entry into Argon's vinyl world: a belt-drive turntable with a pre-fitted cartridge and a built-in, switchable phono preamplifier. You connect it directly to a normal line input – a separate phono preamp isn't needed. In black, it blends unobtrusively into any shelf.

Why the TT-MK2?

The Audio-Technica AT3600L (MM cartridge) comes factory-fitted and aligned – unbox it, fit the belt, drop on the platter, and play. The iron platter (1800 g) delivers steady speed stability, and the aluminium tonearm ensures clean tracking at 33 and 45 rpm. As an entry-level model, the TT-MK2 deliberately does without Bluetooth and USB – so the price-to-performance ratio is right.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an additional phono preamplifier?

No. The TT-MK2 has a built-in, switchable phono preamplifier. You can connect it directly to a normal line or aux input on your amplifier, without any extra device.

Do I still need to adjust the cartridge?

No, the Audio-Technica AT3600L comes factory-fitted and roughly pre-set. You should still briefly check the tracking force and tonearm height though – we're happy to show you how at purchase or during installation.

Why buy the TT-MK2 at HD Zürisee?

Because a turntable only sounds as good as its setup. We set the tracking force and anti-skating before handover and advise you on whether the TT-MK2 entry point is enough or an upgrade is worth it.
