The Woodbang Headbang is a solid wood headphone stand whose open bracket shape lets your headphones' ear cushions breathe instead of squashing them for hours.

Why the Headbang?

Because a good headphone ages faster than it should hanging on a wall hook or lying flat on a shelf – the open shape protects the cushions, and the piece looks better than a plastic hook while doing it.

What you get

Handmade from walnut or oak, impregnated with natural hard wax for a smooth, tactile surface. According to Woodbang, the tall bracket fits most headphones; for particularly large models there's an additional 30 cm version.

Who is the Headbang for? (and who isn't it for)

For anyone with one or more open- or closed-back over-ear headphones that deserve a fixed spot on the desk or rack. If you only own a single pair of in-ears, you simply don't need this piece.

Walnut or oak – what's the difference?

Both woods are worked and just as sturdy, the difference is purely in colour and grain – walnut darker and warm, oak lighter and more distinctive.

Is there also a version with a leather pad?
