The Vincent High-End RCA cable is an analogue stereo interconnect with RCA connectors that links your source and amplifier using oxygen-free OFC copper.

There are cables people write novels about. And there are cables that simply do their job – quietly, reliably, without any esotericism. The Vincent clearly belongs in the second category, and that's exactly why we like it.

Why the Vincent RCA cable?

Vincent has been building hybrid amplifiers for decades, where tubes and transistors have to work together. Anyone who develops devices like that knows how sensitive a signal chain is to its weakest link. The RCA cable is the logical continuation of that mindset: OFC copper as the conductor, clean shielding, neatly assembled connectors that sit firm and snug.

No marketing myths, no direction arrows requiring an explanation. A cleanly crafted cable at a price where you don't feel like you're paying extra for the packaging.

What you get

A stereo pair in three lengths: 2× 0.6 m for the rack, where amplifier and source sit one above the other. 2× 1.0 m for most typical setups. 2× 1.5 m if your turntable stands to the side or your streamer needs to go elsewhere.

The connectors grip firmly without straining your amplifier's socket. That sounds trivial – until you've had a cable that loses contact every time you unplug it.

Who is the Vincent RCA cable suited to?

For anyone who wants to wire their system cleanly without pushing the cable price anywhere near the price of the components. Especially relevant if you already have Vincent components in the rack – the CD-S1.2, SA-32 AE, SP-332 or one of the hybrid integrated amplifiers.

To be blunt: if you're running a high-end chain in the five-figure range and are already shopping with specialised cable makers, you won't find the last ounce of performance here. And if your turntable has a fixed phono output, you need a phono cable, not a line cable – that's not the same thing.

Our verdict

A thoroughly honest cable. It improves the connection more than most bundled cables do, and it does so without any fuss. If you're putting together a system at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, the Vincent RCA cable is often exactly the unassuming building block it needs – leaving your budget where it belongs: with the components and the speakers.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need an RCA cable for?

An RCA cable connects an analogue source to your amplifier – CD player, DAC, streamer or tuner. It carries the line signal in stereo, so it always comes as a pair. For a turntable with a phono output, on the other hand, you need a special phono cable, because a much weaker signal flows there.

Which length should I choose?

As short as makes sense, as long as necessary. If amplifier and source sit one above the other in the rack, 2× 0.6 m is enough. For normal setups, 2× 1.0 m is the safe choice. Choose 2× 1.5 m if your devices are further apart. Better a little slack than a cable under tension.

Can you really hear the difference compared with a bundled cable?

In a decent system, usually yes – above all in quietness, cleanliness and reliable contact. Don't expect miracles, and anyone claiming otherwise is trying to sell you something. A solid cable is a foundation, not a tone control.

Does the cable also work with other brands?

Yes. RCA is a standard, and the cable works with any amplifier or source with RCA sockets – whether NAD, MOON, Technics or Advance Paris. Vincent components are an obvious fit, but not a requirement.

Why buy the Vincent RCA cable from HD Zürisee?

Because we tell you honestly when a cable makes a difference and when your money is better spent elsewhere. We've been putting together systems for decades and know where cabling really matters. Call us, write to us or tell us about your system – we'll think it through with you.
