ViaBlue EP-7 CAT6A Network Cable (LAN)

The ViaBlue EP-7 CAT6A Silver is a high-end network cable for professional gigabit networking – for lossless streaming of HD audio and UHD video formats, even over longer cable runs.

Eight inner cores of tinned OFC copper strands are shielded fivefold (silver-plated OFC braided shield plus four aluminium foil shields) and reliably protect data transmission from external interference. Terminated with VIABLUE T6S RJ-45 connectors with 24-carat gold-plated contacts, compact, flame-retardant and break-resistant.

What you get

You get a fully terminated CAT6A patch cable with RJ-45 connectors in a Cobra sleeve, available in thirteen lengths from 50 cm to 25 metres – from the short connection in the rack to the long run to the network cabinet.

Who is the EP-7 CAT6A suitable for?

Designed for anyone who wants to connect streamers, NAS drives or network switches cleanly and without interference – especially with high-res audio streaming or UHD video over longer cable runs, where standard patch cables reach their limits. For the short connection at a desk, an ordinary network cable is usually enough.

What length do I need?

Measure the cable run between the components generously and choose the next-longer length rather than the exact one – a cable that's too short can't be extended afterwards. For the run to the network cabinet, the long versions up to 25 metres are also available.
