Who is the Home Amp suited for? (and who isn't it for)

For anyone who owns or wants to buy passive speakers and doesn't want a big integrated amplifier in the living room for that – also ideal as a second-room solution for the HEOS multiroom system. Bottom line: There's no phono input for a turntable here, and no headphone output either. If you need that, take a look at a classic PMA integrated amplifier instead.

Does the Home Amp also work without a streaming subscription?
Yes. Via Bluetooth from your smartphone, via the HDMI eARC input from the TV, or via the analog input, it also runs entirely without a subscription. Streaming services via HEOS are an option, not a requirement.

Does the Home Amp have a phono input?
No. The Home Amp has neither a phono input nor a headphone output – it's designed as a pure streaming amplifier for speakers. For connecting a turntable, a classic PMA integrated amplifier is the right choice.
