The Advance Paris MyConnect 60 is an all-in-one hi-fi system in black that combines a Class AB integrated amplifier, CD player, DAB+/FM tuner, network streamer and Phono MM input in a compact housing only 26.5 cm wide.

Why the MyConnect 60?

Most compact systems save money exactly where you can hear it: the amplifier. Advance Paris does it differently and builds a real Class AB power stage with a linear power supply into the MyConnect 60, instead of the usual Class D budget solution – plus a proven Wolfson WM8740 converter. The result sounds like grown-up hi-fi, not a kitchen radio with ambitions. The trade press saw it similarly: hifitest.de crowned the MyConnect 60 a «worry-free package» in its 2020 test.

What you hear

A complete system that only needs speakers: the built-in CD drive, DAB+ and FM radio, internet radio via TuneIn, plus streaming from Spotify, Deezer, Tidal and Qobuz – via app, AirPlay or Bluetooth. Add two optical and one coaxial digital input, three analog inputs (one switchable to Phono MM for your turntable), USB-A on the front, a switchable fixed or variable Pre-Out, a subwoofer output, and a 6.35mm headphone connection with its own circuit. Streaming subscriptions here are an option, not a requirement – CD, DAB+, internet radio and vinyl work completely without one.

Who is the MyConnect 60 right for – and who isn't it right for?

Plain talk: if you want to bring a large, hard-to-drive floorstanding speaker to level in a 30-square-meter living room, you're better off with the MyConnect 150 or 250. The 60 is the specialist for normal living rooms, offices and holiday homes – there it performs big without overreaching. And honestly: most living rooms aren't concert hall replicas.

Does the MyConnect 60 have Bluetooth and AirPlay?

Yes, both are built in. You stream directly from your smartphone or tablet, and the Advance app (iOS/Android) additionally controls network and streaming functions. The MyConnect 60 also plays music from a PC, Mac or NAS over your home network – via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

Is 2 × 60 watts enough?

For bookshelf speakers and efficient floorstanding speakers in normal rooms: easily. The manufacturer states 2 × 48 W into 8 ohms, 2 × 60 W into 6 ohms and 2 × 70 W into 4 ohms – and the Class AB power stage delivers this power stably and under control. That counts for more than the bare wattage on the spec sheet.

Can I listen to CDs with the MyConnect 60?

Yes, a CD drive is permanently built in and plays CD, CD-R/RW and MP3 discs. Your collection runs through the same device as DAB+, internet radio and streaming, converted via the internal Wolfson WM8740. A separate CD player becomes unnecessary – good for the shelf and the budget.

Do I need a streaming subscription?

No. Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz and the like are an option, not a requirement. CD, DAB+, FM, internet radio and vinyl work completely without a subscription – the MyConnect 60 also plays entirely offline in the classic way, with nothing leaving your account each month.
