Frequently asked questions

What's the difference to the Avaton?

The Meisterstück Gen.2 is the larger, more powerful flagship with a slot-in CD player and a 10 kg housing. The Avaton offers similar streaming features in a more compact form, without CD. If you want CD and more output, go for the Meisterstück; if you prefer it slimmer, choose the Avaton.

Can I use it with my TV?

Yes, via HDMI eARC – sound, volume and on/off then run conveniently through your TV remote. Optical and coaxial digital inputs are also available. That gives the Meisterstück rich stereo sound instead of thin TV speaker sound.

What does the room correction do?

The iOS app measures your room and adapts the sound to its size and surfaces, so the bass stays clean even with tricky placement. This gets the best out of the 2.1 tuning for your specific room.

Which streaming services are supported?

Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Deezer and more, plus AirPlay, Google Cast, internet radio and DAB+. As a Qobuz Hi-Fi partner since 2018, we're happy to advise you on the right service.
