The Sonoro Elite is a compact all-in-one music system with an upward-firing 360° speaker, CD player, DAB+/internet radio, Bluetooth and streaming. It's for anyone who wants a full-featured, versatile system on their nightstand or desk that takes up hardly any space.

Why the Elite?

Because it covers almost every source you need in everyday life – on the smallest possible footprint. The upward-firing 3-inch full-range speaker (with a bass-reflex port on the back) spreads sound evenly through the room, ideal for small to medium-sized rooms. And it includes something many compact systems leave out: a real CD player. Audiobooks, old favourite albums, kids' CDs – everything plays directly, no detour via your phone.

What you hear and get

More than 25,000 internet radio stations, plus DAB+/FM, CD, Bluetooth and streaming services like Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer. Control it on the unit itself, with the remote, or via the app on your smartphone. Handy in the bedroom: display brightness adjusts automatically to the ambient light, and the dual alarm function wakes two people at different times – one with radio, the other with an alarm tone. The USB port lets you charge your phone overnight at the same time.

Who's the Elite suited for – and who isn't it for?

Ideal for the bedroom, guest room or home office, and for anyone who wants CD and streaming combined in one stylish unit. Honest take: it's not built for big stereo room-filling sound or home cinema – that's what the 2.1 Meisterstück or a receiver combo is for. Does the Elite have a CD player?

Yes, a built-in CD player for CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3-CD and WMA, including repeat, shuffle and resume. That makes it one of the few compact systems combining CDs and streaming under one roof.

What does an upward-firing speaker sound like?

The driver fires upward and spreads sound evenly around the room (360°) rather than in just one direction. This feels more open and is especially handy on a nightstand or sideboard, where you move around it from all sides. A rear bass-reflex port adds extra low end.

Can I stream to it?
