What's the difference between the Avaton and the Meisterstück Gen.2?

At its core, the Avaton is the Meisterstück Gen.2 in a more compact form: the same streaming functions and a similar sound character, but without a CD drive and a little smaller. If you want to play CDs or prefer the bigger housing, go for the Meisterstück; if you like it slimmer, go for the Avaton.

Do I need extra speakers for the Avaton?

No. The Avaton is an all-in-one system with six built-in drivers and a subwoofer – speakers, amplifier and streaming are already inside. All you need is power and WLAN, and the music plays.

Can I use the Avaton with my TV?

Yes, via HDMI (ARC) – volume and on/off then run through your TV remote (requires HDMI ARC/eARC on the TV). Alternatively, the optical digital input is available. This way, the Avaton easily replaces a soundbar in terms of sound.
