Can the microphone on the Home 150 be switched off?
Yes, a physical switch disconnects the microphone from power. Voice control via Alexa or Siri then no longer works, while music playback via app or Bluetooth remains fully available.

What's the difference from the Home 150 NV?
Sound and drivers are identical. The Home 150 additionally has a microphone for Alexa and Siri voice control – the NV deliberately does without it.

Can I use the Home 150 as a surround speaker?
Yes, in combination with the Denon Home Sound Bar 550, it can be wirelessly integrated as a rear surround channel – handy if the smart speaker is later meant to grow into a small home cinema.

Does the Home 150 need a paid subscription?
No. Internet radio, your own network files and Bluetooth from your phone all work without a subscription. Spotify, Tidal or Deezer can optionally be integrated via the HEOS app.
