The MOON 390 + 330A HiFi set is a separately built stereo combination that pairs the MOON 390 network player and preamplifier (with HDMI board) with the fully balanced 330A power amplifier to create a complete system for music and TV sound.

This offer is for our demo unit from the showroom in Wädenswil – a discontinued one-off piece: technically flawless, fully functional and in top cosmetic condition, with at most the slightest signs of use. Instead of CHF 10,860.–, you get the set for CHF 6,860.–, while stocks last. We give this demo unit 3 years of warranty. Original packaging and full scope of delivery are included, pickup in Wädenswil or delivery as usual.

The preamp section with streaming, DAC and phono sits in the 390, pure power in the 330A – deliberately kept separate so the sensitive digital section and the powerful amplifier power supply don't get in each other's way.

Why this set?

Because the 390 can do almost everything a modern source needs to do, and the 330A focuses on one thing: keeping speakers firmly in check. The 390 combines network streaming via MiND 2 (Roon Ready, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer), a DAC up to PCM 32-bit / 384 kHz, DSD256 and MQA, a configurable MM/MC phono stage and a headphone amplifier in one chassis.

The real highlight is the HDMI board: four HDMI inputs bring the sound from your TV, streaming box or player into the system before the internal DAC converts it. The 330A delivers 125 watts per channel at 8 ohms (250 watts at 4 ohms) – fully balanced, in dual-mono construction and without global negative feedback.

What you hear

The 390 does the same thing with every source: a clean, calm signal. Thanks to the physical separation from the power amp, the background stays black and details emerge freely. The 330A translates that effortlessly – even larger floorstanding speakers gain contour, pace and bass that stands firm instead of wobbling.

And because the HDMI sound runs through the same converter as your music, even Sunday-night TV suddenly sounds like more than television.

Who is this set for – and who isn't it for?

For anyone who wants to bring stereo and TV sound together in one serious system: streaming, vinyl and TV audio through the same chain, plus the demand for clean, controlled reproduction in normal to larger living rooms.

Straight talk: if you're after a home cinema with surround sound across five or seven speakers, this isn't for you – the 390 deliberately plays HDMI audio in stereo, not surround. And if you only run a small compact speaker on your desk, you're buying far more power amp than the room will ever call on. As a discontinued model, the set is also a one-off: once it's gone, it's gone.
