Focal Aria EVO X N°2/N°1/Center Set, Gloss Black (Set)

The Focal Aria EVO X N°2/N°1/Center Set bundles three matched models from the French Aria EVO X series into a multichannel front stage: the N°2 floorstander as the front, the N°1 bookshelf speaker, and the matching center.

All three share the same Flax cone and the same TAM tweeter — that ensures identical tonal colour across every channel and a seamless transition from left through center to right.

Why the Aria EVO X N°2/N°1/Center Set?

Because a home cinema is only as good as the tonal unity of its front channels. The Flax cone made of French flax gives voices and instruments naturalness, the inverted TAM tweeter with waveguide keeps the highs refined and directs them to the listening position. The N°2 provides the foundation, the Center the intelligible dialogue, the N°1 adds flexibility.

Who's the set for — and who isn't it for?

Straight talk: ideal for normal to medium-sized living rooms where a coherent front stage matters more than brute-force level. If you want to flood a very large room with deep bass, consider the N°3 or N°4 set instead. And a cheap discount-store receiver holds the set back — the Aria series rewards a powerful amplifier (MOON, for instance) with audibly more dynamics.

Do I need a subwoofer with the set?

Not strictly for music — the N°2 has enough foundation. For home cinema with noticeable deep bass, a subwoofer (e.g. Focal SUB 1000F) is a sensible addition to the set.
