The Cabasse The Pearl with Stand set consists of the active streaming speaker The Pearl and the matching Cabasse The Pearl Stand, which brings the sphere freestanding into the room at listening height.

Both in black, both matched to each other: the sphere in metallic gloss, the stand in matte black. Important up front: the set contains one speaker and one stand. For classic stereo you need two of them.

Why The Pearl with Stand?

Because a sphere that radiates all around doesn't belong on a sideboard. The 84 cm tall stand brings the coaxial driver to ear height and creates distance from walls and furniture – exactly the freedom this radiation pattern needs. Its 15 kg stand rock-solid, and the cables disappear invisibly inside both stand tubes. Bottom line: if you cram the Pearl onto a shelf, you give away a good part of what you bought it for.

What you get

The full Pearl sound: 1600 W RMS per speaker, 25 cm woofer, 13 cm coaxial driver, bass depth down to 14 Hz according to the manufacturer. CRCS calibration picks up the room via a built-in microphone and adapts the bass level to the placement. High-res files up to 24 bit/192 kHz arrive via LAN or Wi-Fi, Roon Ready and AirPlay 2 are certified. Streaming stays an option: via optical S/PDIF, analogue RCA and USB-A you can play a TV, CD player, turntable (with phono stage) and your own files, internet radio comes without a subscription. Control is via the StreamCONTROL app or the Bluetooth remote.

Who is the set for – and who isn't it for?

For anyone who wants the full Pearl level, freestanding in the room, filling living rooms up to about 35 m². Honestly: if you already have a suitable sideboard at the right height, you can do without the stand and just get the sphere on its own. And if you only want quiet background music, the smaller Akoya serves you better.

Sphere plus matching stand is the combination in which The Pearl shows what it can do – freestanding, at height, without a cable mess. What's included in the set?

How tall is the stand?

84 cm, with a footprint of 38 × 38 cm and 15 kg of weight. That puts the sphere's coaxial driver roughly at ear height when you're sitting. The cables run invisibly through both stand tubes, so nothing is visible at the connection panel.

Do I need two sets for stereo?

Yes. Each Pearl is a complete system with its own amplifiers, converter and streamer and is sold individually. Two sets give you a stereo pair at identical height, which you pair in the app. A single set works convincingly as a mono solution in a side room.

Why a stand at all?

Because the sphere radiates all around and sounds most open when freestanding. On a sideboard, the surface reflects the sound, and in a corner the bass builds up. The stand brings the driver to ear height and creates distance from walls, so CRCS calibration has less to straighten out.

How long does the warranty last?

The statutory manufacturer warranty applies. Anyone who registers the set with Cabasse within 60 days of purchase also receives an extended warranty of five years on the drivers and two years on the electronics. We handle this for you as an authorised dealer.
