The Cabasse The Pearl speaker stand in matte white is the factory-made floor stand for the Cabasse The Pearl and sets the sound sphere at 84 cm height. Aluminium structure, a steel base, 15 kg total weight – and the cables disappear inside the tube. In bright rooms, the white finish is the more discreet route: it steps back and lets the Pearl own the stage.

Why this stand?

A speaker that radiates in all directions is sensitive to its surroundings. If the Pearl sits too low, too close to a surface, or on a hollow piece of furniture, it loses exactly what you bought it for: the free, cabinet-detached imaging. The 84 cm brings the coaxial system to ear height, and the 15 kg makes sure the stand doesn't resonate along with it, but instead channels energy into the floor.

Soft rubber feet are included for hard floors, decoupling spikes for carpet. Mounting hardware and instructions are included, and the whole thing is assembled in a few minutes.

Who is the white stand suited for?

For bright living spaces, where a black stand would look out of place. Honestly, that's the main difference from the black version – technically the two are identical. It's the wrong purchase if you're planning to wall-mount the Pearl anyway, or if you already have a sturdy piece of furniture at the right height. And it doesn't fit the smaller models in the Pearl family – Akoya, Myuki and Keshi have their own stands and mounts.

Our verdict

Accessories that are usually dismissed as an afterthought – here, it's part of the design. If you buy the Pearl and then set it on a chest of drawers, you're giving away a good part of what you chose it for. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil we rarely advise against it. Unless you genuinely have the right piece of furniture already – then we'll tell you that too.

What is the Cabasse The Pearl stand made of?

Aluminium and steel. The load-bearing structure with the two stand tubes is made of aluminium, and the base is steel, measuring 38 × 38 cm. Together that adds up to 15 kg of own weight – enough mass that the stand doesn't start working against the Pearl.

Is the stand compatible with the Pearl Akoya?

No. Cabasse offers a separate, smaller stand for the Pearl Akoya at 70 cm height and 6.4 kg weight. The stand offered here, at 84 cm and 15 kg, is designed for the larger The Pearl. Both items carry separate part numbers and cannot be swapped.

Is the stand delivered individually or as a pair?

Individually. One item equals one stand, since the The Pearl itself is a single active speaker and is sold per piece. For a stereo setup with two Pearls, you simply add this item to your cart twice. The sales unit is also stated in the technical data.

What's included in delivery?

The stand is delivered disassembled, together with mounting hardware and instructions. It also comes with decoupling spikes for carpeted floors and soft rubber feet for hard floors like parquet or stone. The speaker itself is not included – it's sold separately.
