Eversolo EM-01 Measurement Microphone

The Eversolo EM-01 is a USB measurement microphone with a 6 mm electret condenser capsule (omnidirectional pattern), developed for room correction on Eversolo devices and working via USB-C with computers and smartphones.

A calibration file is included, the microphone supports REW and Dirac, and it can also be used for recordings.

Why the EM-01?

Because room correction is only as good as the measurement. The EM-01 has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz (±1 dB), an aluminum housing and a 24-bit converter. It runs driver-free on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android and is powered by 5 volts via USB. The delivery includes a tabletop stand, microphone holder, windscreen and cables.

What you hear

You don't hear the EM-01, you measure with it. The measurements help you match the room and the speakers to each other. You still can't do without a listening session at the end; the ear has the last word.

Who is the EM-01 suited for?

For anyone who wants to calibrate their system with the Eversolo room correction functions or make their own measurements with REW or Dirac. Plain speaking: without a device with room correction and without interest in measurements, the microphone is unnecessary. It does not replace acoustic treatment in the room.
