Does the Sangean DDR-7 have a battery?

Yes. The DDR-7 contains a rechargeable lithium battery (18650, 3.6 V, 2600 mAh), charged via Micro-USB. The radio therefore plays without a socket, for example from the kitchen to the balcony. The manufacturer gives no runtime figure.

Is the cabinet really made of wood?

The cabinet is acoustically tuned and finished in real wood veneer. Depending on the colour variant, the grain is more or less visible. That gives the sound a warmth you do not find in plastic radios of this size.

Does the DDR-7 receive DAB+ and FM?

Yes, both. The DDR-7 has a tuner for DAB+ (digital radio) and classic FM with RDS and station presets. You need no subscription for it. Over Bluetooth 5.0 or AUX you can also play your own music.
