The Bluesound Pulse SUB (SW200) is the completely redesigned successor to the Pulse Sub+ and integrates wirelessly via BluOS into an existing Bluesound system, where it takes care of the deep bass.
Honestly: a well-tuned system without a foundation doesn't sound wrong, just lean. The Pulse SUB adds that foundation without a single extra signal cable running across your living room. In matte black with a dark grey grille, it remains a compact, unobtrusive cube in the room.
Why the Pulse SUB (SW200)?
Two opposingly arranged 16.5cm (6.5") woofers and a Smart DSP Class D amplifier together deliver 350 watts of system power – more than double the 150 watts of the previous Pulse Sub+, with similarly compact outer dimensions. The opposing arrangement of the two drivers cancels out mechanical reaction forces against each other, so the round cabinet sits more calmly and vibrates less.
What you get
The connection runs wirelessly via Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 5) to BluOS-capable Bluesound devices, plus Ethernet (RJ45) for a fixed network connection. If you'd rather use a wired connection or use it outside of BluOS, use the analogue line-level input. You set level, crossover frequency, and phase in the BluOS app. Power cables for 120V and 230V are included, along with a quick guide and safety/warranty information.
Who's the Pulse SUB (SW200) for?
The logical addition if you already use Bluesound and want more depth – for music as well as for home cinema, and thanks to the higher system power, also for somewhat larger rooms than with the predecessor. Honestly: standby consumption at 8 watts is noticeably higher than the Pulse Sub+, which is the price of the larger amplifier. And if you're expecting automatic room calibration, there's no reliable manufacturer statement on that as of this writing – ask us if that matters to you.
Our verdict
The Pulse SUB (SW200) is the consistent evolution of the Pulse Sub+: noticeably more power, a new, calmer cabinet concept, still wirelessly integrated and tuned via app. Which crossover frequency and which position work in your room is something we at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil figure out together with you – call us or send us a message.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Pulse SUB (SW200) really wireless?
Yes, apart from the power connection. Signal transmission runs via Wi-Fi through BluOS, so you don't need a speaker or RCA cable for that. If you'd rather use a fixed wired connection or use it outside of BluOS, use the analogue line-level input. Both routes are open to you, and you decide based on your room and setup.
What sets the SW200 apart from the previous Pulse Sub+?
The SW200 is a new design: two opposing 16.5cm drivers instead of one 20cm driver, 350 instead of 150 watts of system power, plus a round instead of a flat cabinet. Bluesound presents it as the direct successor to the Pulse Sub+, which we're therefore removing from our range and no longer reordering.
Which devices does the Pulse SUB (SW200) work with?
With BluOS-capable Bluesound devices via Wi-Fi, plus Ethernet for a fixed network connection. Pairing is done in the BluOS app, where you also set level and crossover frequency. Outside the Bluesound system, it can be connected to an amplifier with a subwoofer output via the analogue line-level input.
Which colour suits my system?
The SW200 comes in matte black with a dark grey grille or in white with a tan-coloured grille. Both variants cost the same with us; the choice is purely a matter of taste and depends on your other furnishings, the room, and the rest of your setup.
