Bassocontinuo Maxi Ghironda 2.1 HiFi Rack

The Bassocontinuo Maxi Ghironda 2.1 is a triple-wide HiFi rack made of solid stainless steel that brings together three complete rows of equipment on a single stand.

The Maxi Ghironda 2.1 is the largest expansion stage of the Reference Line and brings its full technology package to a width of 1680 mm: the new tie-rod system keeps all three shelf rows taut against the stainless steel structure, the 30 mm thick shelves stay calm, a spirit level integrated into the base makes exact alignment easy even over such a large area, and every unit carries its own NFC chip with an individual serial number. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, we'll plan with you how a rack solution this size can be neatly integrated into your listening room.

Who is the Maxi Ghironda 2.1 for?

The Maxi Ghironda 2.1 suits extensive systems with three or more rows of equipment – for example a stereo preamp, two monoblocks and additional digital sources on one shared stand. With three surfaces of 500 × 500 mm each, it's clearly a statement piece for larger rooms. For most two-channel setups, the single Accordeon XL4 2.1 or the double-wide Ghironda 2.1 is entirely sufficient.

Our verdict

If you really want to house a lot of electronics cleanly and consistently instead of combining several separate pieces of furniture, the Maxi Ghironda 2.1 gives you a single foundation with consistent quality throughout – consistent, but also correspondingly space-consuming and, price-wise, a different league.
