Argon Audio TT3 Plus Turntable, White (Each)

The Argon Audio TT3 Plus builds on the TT3 and upgrades exactly where it matters most sonically: a carbon tonearm instead of aluminium, a higher-quality Ortofon 2M Red, and a built-in, switchable phono preamplifier. The white finish looks especially minimal in bright rooms.

Why the TT3 Plus?

The carbon/aluminium tonearm is stiffer and lighter than pure aluminium – this reduces resonances and benefits detail resolution. Argon's patent-pending ATS technology (Anisotropic Torsion Stabilizer) further ensures a calmer, more stable run. The built-in phono preamplifier makes an external one unnecessary, but can also be switched off if needed.

Frequently asked questions

What does the carbon tonearm offer over aluminium?

Carbon is stiffer at a lower weight, so the arm itself resonates less and colours the signal less. Combined with the ATS damping, that's the main difference from the simpler TT3.

Do I have to use the built-in phono preamplifier?

No, it can be switched off. If your amplifier already has a high-quality phono stage of its own, you can use that instead – we're happy to show you both options in a direct comparison if you'd like.
