The Bluesound Pulse Cinema Mini (P431) is a compact active 2.1 soundbar that virtualises Dolby Atmos via DSP and brings TV sound together with high-resolution BluOS streaming in an 85-centimetre-narrow aluminium enclosure.

Why the Pulse Cinema Mini?

280 watts of system power are spread across eight drivers: two tweeters, two midranges, two 4-inch woofers and two passive radiators that coax an astonishing amount of bass out of the small volume. The drivers sit angled in the front, and the DSP calculates the Dolby Atmos height information. The result is noticeably more space than from the TV – without any drivers needing to fire toward the ceiling.

Pleasant in everyday use is the automatic position detection: the bar figures out for itself whether it's standing on furniture or mounted on the wall, and corrects its tuning accordingly.
