Ja. Bluesound gibt für die Pulse Cinema eine 3.2.2-Konfiguration mit zwei nach oben strahlenden Höhenkanälen an – die Atmos-Höhe wird also physisch abgestrahlt und nicht nur berechnet. Insgesamt arbeiten 16 Chassis im Gehäuse. Die kleinere Cinema Mini virtualisiert die Höhe dagegen per DSP.

Welche Klangmodi bietet die Pulse Cinema?

Drei: Movie, Music und Late Night. The Bluesound Pulse Cinema (P530) is an active Dolby Atmos soundbar that combines home-cinema sound with genuine up-firing height channels, high-resolution streaming via BluOS and a fully-fledged multiroom player in one aluminium enclosure.

Straight talk: this one bar replaces the bulky AV receiver and its cable clutter in most living rooms. One HDMI cable to the TV, the app on your phone – and the room suddenly sounds like a cinema instead of a flat-screen.

Why the Pulse Cinema?

500 watts of total system power and an array of 16 drivers open up a 3.2.2 sound field. Two of those channels fire upward: the Atmos height here is physically radiated, not just calculated – rain from above, a helicopter overhead. Via HDMI eARC, a single cable to the TV is enough, and three sound modes (Movie, Music, Late Night) tailor the tuning to film, album or a late evening.

Who's the Pulse Cinema for – and who isn't it for?

Ideal if you want cinema sound and audiophile music streaming in one elegant device, without setting up a receiver rack; from around 55 inches of screen diagonal, the proportions also work out. Less ideal if you're planning a fully discrete 7.2.4 system with hard-wired rears and multiple subwoofers – there, the classic AV receiver remains the more honest choice. For vinyl: a turntable needs a separate phono preamp at the analogue input. And an infrared remote isn't included – control is via the app or a learned TV remote.
