Why the b.Disc Pro MK2?

The Pro MK2 version works in two layers: a disc made from the high-performance polymer Sorbothane® is cleanly separated from a cork-rubber ring by a film-like insert in purple. That separation of the two absorber layers is exactly what sets it apart from the simpler Basic disc. The body is made of aluminum, and on request a POM glider sits underneath – so you can nudge the speaker into place without scratching the floor.

The POM glider sits on the underside and lets you fine-tune the speaker's position without scratching the floor. Plan for about one millimeter of extra height. Without the glider, the disc stays firmly in place.
