Bassocontinuo Reference Line DSD Isolation Pucks

The Bassocontinuo Reference Line DSD Isolation Puck is a stainless steel puck with built-in elastomer vibration damping that specifically decouples equipment from its surface instead of just supporting it.

Unlike a simple washer, the DSD Isolation Puck works on the same principle as the base plates of the Reference Line racks: an elastomer layer between two stainless steel discs mechanically absorbs vibrations instead of simply passing them through. The box contains four pieces – enough for one device on four feet. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, we also use the same DSD technology in the complete Reference Line racks; the puck brings it in a small format to existing furniture or directly under individual devices.

Who is the DSD Isolation Puck for?

The DSD Isolation Puck suits anyone who wants to specifically decouple a single device – amplifier, turntable, streamer – without buying a complete rack straight away. If you already own a Reference Line rack, the decoupling is already built in there, and you'd need the set at most for a second device.

What's the difference between the DSD Isolation Puck and a normal equipment foot?
The puck contains an elastomer layer between two stainless steel discs that mechanically absorbs vibrations – the same DSD principle as in the base plates of the Reference Line racks. A simple rubber disc or a spike doesn't offer this defined damping effect.

How many pucks do I need for one device?
The box contains four pieces, which is enough for one device on four feet. For devices with three feet or for a second device, you'll need another box accordingly – just tell us how many devices you want to decouple.

Can I also place the DSD Isolation Puck under heavy power amplifiers?
Yes, the stainless steel construction is designed for the loads also found in the Reference Line racks. For very heavy monoblocks, though, we're happy to also advise you on a suitable rack solution.
