Advance Paris MyCast 7 Streaming System with CD/DAB+

The Advance Paris MyCast 7 is a compact all-in-one hi-fi system that combines a CD player, DAB+/FM tuner, network streaming and a 2 × 45-watt Class AB amplifier in a housing only 26.5 cm wide. What you hear

Practically every source you can think of: the built-in CD drive, DAB+ and FM, Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music and Napster, internet radio via TuneIn and iHeartRadio, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, and music from a NAS or PC on the network – controlled via the Advance Playstream app. The HDMI ARC input brings TV sound onto the system with a single cable, plus two optical and one coaxial digital input, three RCA inputs (one usable as Phono MM), Sub-Out, a switchable fixed or variable Pre-Out, and USB and headphone connections on the front. And the nice part: CD, DAB+, internet radio and vinyl work entirely without a subscription – streaming is an option, not a requirement.

Who is the MyCast 7 right for – and who isn't it right for?

Plain talk: the MyCast 7 is ideal for the living room, office or holiday home – anywhere a complete system needs to fit in a small space. If you want to fill a large room with low-efficiency floorstanding speakers, or expand to separate components later, you're better off with a MyConnect model or a full-fledged streaming amplifier. Does the MyCast 7 replace a soundbar for the TV?

Yes, and noticeably so. Via HDMI ARC you connect the TV with one cable, control the volume with the TV remote, and hear movies and shows through real speakers – with a stereo stage instead of a plastic housing.

Can I listen to CDs with the MyCast 7?

Yes, a CD drive is permanently built in. Your discs play through the same device as DAB+, internet radio and streaming, without needing a separate CD player on the shelf. Conversion runs through the same internal Wolfson/TI section as streaming – so your CD collection stays sonically on par.

Do I need a streaming subscription to use the MyCast 7?

No. CD, DAB+/FM radio, internet radio, Bluetooth and music from your own network all work without any subscription. Services like Spotify, Tidal or Qobuz are an option for anyone who already uses them – not a requirement, and certainly not an ongoing obligatory expense.

Can I connect a turntable?

Yes, one of the three RCA inputs can be used as a Phono MM input. Your turntable with an MM cartridge connects directly to the MyCast 7, no external phono stage needed – vinyl, CD and streaming peacefully united in a single device.
